Well it certainly helps to be creative, but in reality I think any content of value will easily achieve similar results. Obviously in these videos a large budget helps as well.

Very interesting video about the knife. I think the lesson we can learn from these companies is that we have to be very creative and stand out of the competiton. It's not easy but very effective.

Hi, Good point but one should not forget that adding fresh and relevant content should be added with ones' readers in mind, the search engines do like to see that such content is being added on a regular basis, but at the end of the day it is the readers of a blog that make or break a blog.

I've had the same email. How can they register my domain if it's already with my registrar of choice unless I transfer it and provide the domain key? I suspect that this site is used purely to collect your credit card data and sell it on.

Hi Tal, Thanks for pointing that out, you are correct I totally missed that as I have always called this Search Engine Submission. My mistake. However even so I still think this is way over priced for submitting a site to the search engines (unless that includes the $299 fee to Yahoo as well).
Maybe I should have ended my post with "Buyer read the email carefully" rather than Buyer beware :-)

you've missed a big thing !! they didnt say renew or register the domain !

they said "renew your search engine registration" !!

they offered you to sign up for their search engine service , and used a letter that if you dont read too careful you just think they said renew your domian reg!

Kathleen, Great question. Thanks for reminding me.
The sites and services That the indexer uses do have some limitations, and after running the tool for a number of sites at once you may start to see baclinks failing. This is because they only allow a certain number of requests from a peticular ip address each day. When that happens just wait 24 hours and start again, or you can run it on a VPS.

My test show that you will still get about 50 backlinks running the Indexer multiple times in a short period of time.

Just downloaded the Website Indexer. All I gotta say is that my mind is spinning with possibilities here. Personally, I am planning on giving the link to some of my partners so they can pass it on to their friends. Free one way backlinks - who doesn't want that?

Plus, from my experience, it doesn't look like the software is using any BlueFart techniques to get your site indexed so there is no worries there.

Now, if the software would go out there and get traffic as well, that would be something else

All in all I think this is a great tool and great for SEO and link building. Everybody loves using software and this one is free.

One of the best freebies I've seen in a long time.
